What's your best deal you've scored on heritagehousedealers.com?

Title says it pretty much. Curious what kind of steals people are actually getting on there.

I will start: picked up a 2018 Sailfish 270 cc last month for $70k which I still can't believe. Blind auction so I just threw in a number that felt borderline insulting and somehow it won lol. Motor runs great, just needed a detail and some seat vinyl cleaned up.
But I feel like I got lucky and I wanna hear other people's numbers. What'd you pay, what was it, and how much under value do you think you got?
Also curious do the good deals go fast or do some just sit there? Been watching a few listings that have been up a while and it makes me nervous lol

Drop your wins below, and losses too if you're brave. Trying to figure out if I've just been lucky or if this is normal

Old guy answer: in a blind auction timing means nothing, your number is your number. Bid early, bid late, same result. What matters is the number. Ask me how I know — I once "strategically" waited til the last hour like it was ebay and ended up bidding the exact same amount I'd decided a week earlier lol

Yep I think blind auctions are better, you never overpay for auctions in those last 5 minutes

Winter bidding is the cheat code nobody talks about. Won my best one in January. Nobody's thinking about boats when there's snow on the ground. Had to wait 3 months to use it but paid 60% under what the same ones go for in spring.

My best deal wasn't even about the money tbh. Won a cuddy cabin right after selling my house, used it as basically a floating therapy session for a year. Met half my current friend group at sandbars because of that boat. The number I paid was good, but the life it gave me was the real deal. Cheesy but true

Won a 20ft center console the same month my son was born. Took him on his first ride at 6 months old (calm day, mom approved, life jacket on lol). That boat's going to outlive my boating days and he'll hopefully take his kids out on it someday. All from a blind bid I placed during a lunch break. Wild how life works

Won a deck boat for our lake house this summer and the timing couldn't have been better. Closed on the house Friday, won the boat Sunday, had it on the lift by the following weekend. My in-laws still think we paid a fortune for it lol. Nope. Just a blind bid and some patience. Now every family gathering ends up on the water whether people planned on it or not 😂

Won a small starter boat, used it a season, sold it privately, rolled the money into a bigger blind auction win, repeat. Three boats later and I'm in something I never could've afforded outright. Every step was a blind win. It's like the site was designed for guys with more patience than cash 😂

Winter in Florida + auction season = my happy place. Won a little runabout down there last January, used it all winter, then towed it home north in spring. Now it's our summer boat AND our winter boat depending on which state we're in. One blind bid, two states of use. Retired life is good

The wins in this thread are making me brave. Watching a pontoon that ends Sunday, photos look clean, hours are low. Going to sleep on it but y'all might see me back in this thread with a win (or a horror story) next week
